Farmers’ Market

Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Christmas Market on Thursday 23 November. We raised £255.50 for school. Thank you to our external stall holders: Love Bread, Rona Robinson, Jayne Mellor, Dilishique, Jewellery Company and Ian Wood. Thank you to Miss Nixon, who donated the cards and to Rachael Smith, who donated the Reindeer Food. Thank you to Reception and Year 1 children and staff, who made items to sell at the market.

I would also like to thank Woody Holleran, William Cullen, Lucy Gledhill, Scarlet Garland, Sam Bell, Felicity Welding, JJ Stevenson, Holly Birch, Ava Gardiner, Amelia Waites and Cody Whitehead, who helped on the stalls and to tidy up at the end of the night.

Raffle prizes have all been claimed. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket. It was another great event for school. These events would not be successful without the support of parents and carers, we really appreciate you coming along.

Contributions to Halifax Food Bank

In the build up to Christmas we can sometimes forget that there are people not as fortunate as we are. Some of our staff members have decided to make contributions of food to the food bank in Halifax instead of sending Christmas cards to each other. We would be happy for any other members of our school community to join us.

Please drop any food donations (eg dried food, tins, festive food) into the box at the school reception desk before Wednesday 20 December.

Thank you for your support.

Please Park Considerately!

Parking is at a premium at drop-off or pick-up time.

Please consider the safety of our children and the local residents when you park at these times. We continue to work with the local council and police to ensure that we keep our children as safe as possible at these busy times. Please think carefully about the safety of your parking – it really could cost a child’s life.

Many thanks to all our careful and considerate families including many who make the sensible decision to walk to and from school!

Moving house, changing telephone numbers or email address

If you are moving house, changing your telephone numbers or your email address please can you inform school as soon as possible to ensure we have the most up to date information.

Parents registered on ParentMail must also update their information on the system directly. If you have any queries or problems please do not hesitate to contact school.
