YEAR 2 CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE
Wednesday 7th December at 9.30 am
Year 2 doors will be open at 8.45 am in order to give us time to dress the children.
There will be a costume letter coming home this week detailing what your child will need to bring to school for the performance.
Tickets will be available to purchase from 21st November via ParentMail (£1.50 each limited to 4 tickets per family).
PTFA will be selling raffle tickets to win a Christmas hamper.

VIOLIN OPEN REHEARSAL
Wednesday 7th December at 3.45 pm
The violin groups (Wednesday & Thursday) will be holding an open rehearsal for their parents, family and siblings after school. Doors will open at 3.30 pm and the rehearsal should last about 30 minutes
This will be the last violin group before the holidays—club will start again on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th January.

Information for parents of Nursery and Reception children:
In order to be prepared, we would like to put names on the gift tags in advance. Please send in a list of up to 3 names of the people your child will be buying for. The ages of any children would also be helpful. Please send this information in to your child’s class teacher by Wednesday 30th November at the latest
A more detailed letter will be sent out by the PTFA in regards to the Secret Shop.
Christmas Dinner
Don’t forget to book your child a Christmas Dinner by completing the form that was sent out via ParentMail, on 3rd November. The closing date for bookings is Friday 25th November. It would be lovely if as many children as possible could have a school meal on that day. Children will make their choice for Christmas Dinner in class.
Christmas Jumper day in aid of Overgate Hospice
Donate £1 to wear your jumper to school for Overgate Hospice.
YEAR 1 CHRISTMAS CONCERT AND CAROLS AT ST MATTHEW’S CHURCH
Tuesday 13th December at 2.15 pm
The children will be attending St Matthew’s Church as part of their celebrations for Christmas. Parents are invited to join us to enjoy this special occasion. Please can children bring a Christmas jumper or top to change into. Please come to school that day in uniform.
There will be no charge for the concert but there will be a bucket collection which will be split between school fund and the Church.

Parties take place during normal Nursery sessions.
Children can come to school in party clothes.
We would welcome small (to feed 6 children) donations of foodYellow group—savoury items e.g. crisps, sausage rolls, sandwiches, bread sticks, cucumber and carrot sticks Red group—Sweet items e.g. fruit, biscuits and cakes
Drinks will be provided.
At 11 am a special visitor may come to see us! If you would like to join us please come to the Nursery entrance. Don’t forget your camera.
THURSDAY 15TH DECEMBER am

Parties take place during normal Nursery sessions.
Children can come to school in party clothes.

On the 15th, children may bring party clothes to change into. Please label any special or precious clothing to avoid party items getting lost.
Please could all children bring in some party food e.g. a pack of biscuits, crisps, buns or chopped fruit etc.
Cordial will be provided in class.

If you would like to donate some party food the following examples or similar would be greatly appreciated: Party snacks such as crisps, biscuits, sausage/cheese rolls, sweets, etc..
Cordial will be provided in class.
Please note we cannot accept any items or products containing orange and nuts due to allergies

THURSDAY 15TH DECEMBER – YEAR 3
Year 3 Christmas Party
Children should come to school in their school uniform. Please bring party clothes and shoes in a carrier bag clearly labelled with their name. They will get changed after lunch. We would be grateful if you could send a small amount of party food (enough for 2 children). 3 Oak children: something savoury, eg sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps. 3 Pine children: something sweet, eg, buns, chocolate brownie, fruit.
Cordial will be provided.

FRIDAY 16TH DECEMBER
On the 16th children may come dressed in party clothes or Christmas jumper. Food—Please can each child bring in a labelled bag a drink (not fizzy), a packet of crisps and a biscuit or bun. The day will include a film and the children can bring in games or toys to play with at some point during the day. Please do not bring in expensive electronic items as school will not be responsible for any loss / damage.

We will be having a non uniform day on the last day of term for all children in school and nursery. There will be no charge for non uniform
