Year 3 and 4 Sports Day

This sports day was extraordinary, the turn out in parents was phenomenal and each person tried their hardest and enjoyed themselves. Each person had one or two events and got to practice them at playtime or in P.E. We had many events the categories were: Throwing, Races, Jumping and Running. ‘It was great seeing everyone being involved!’ said Mia Fox from 4 Sycamore. Some of the most popular events were: 800m, Skipping and the Hurdle Race.

Children were awarded House Points for each place they came in and altogether, with the results added up, Diamonds came in 4th place, Emeralds in 3rd place, Sapphires 2nd place and Rubies in 1st place. However this doesn’t matter as every single child tried their best and that is all that matters!

We had a wonderful time at sports day. Luckily it was good weather. There was lots of different events such as the tennis ball throw, discus, javelin, beanbag balance, hurdles, three legged race and much more! All the children enjoyed themselves and behaved well. But the most important part was that all the children took part.

Thank you all parents for coming!

Year 1 and 2 Sports Day

It was fun because you got to do races and it doesn’t matter if you come last or third or second as long as you took part and you had fun.

It was fantastic how much races their were like bean bag on head, egg and spoon race, hurdles, relay, wheel barrow, 100 meters and much more.

All the mummy’s and daddy’s came to watch it was incredible.

It was incredible how many people joined in on that day everyone was wearing the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th stickers. It did not matter if you came 4th, it just matters that you took part. It was a bit chilly but it was fun and good that all the parents came to watch.

Sports day is fun because you can do things like relay, been bag on head races and it was so fun because it doesn’t matter if you came 1, 2, 3, 4. It was good how many people were there to watch. Also I came 2nd but I didn’t care because I took part.
